Polygon’s ExactAire® a turnkey remote monitoring solution that helps project managers, owners, and facility managers continuously monitor conditions and understand how they change over time. It uses long-range, low-power IoT communications to collect, transmit and visualize data from a variety of sensors.

 

ExactAire can monitor temperature, humidity, air quality, wood and concrete moisture content, air borne contaminants including gases, particulate matter (PM 2.5), air flow, air pressure and other key air qualities. The ExactAire system also can monitor the building envelope including leak detection, water flow, energy consumption, vibration, alarm or equipment status, occupancy, and other critical facility variables.

 

The system is rapidly deployable and operates wirelessly with many sensors boasting a battery life of one or more years.  Independent communications gateways collect the data from all the sensors and process it via cloud-based portals to provide seamless dashboards, reporting and alarm notification of key stakeholders.

The ExactAire® Smart Controller provides autonomous management of Polygon climate control equipment and the built environment. This patented technology uses environmental data from sensors positioned throughout the facility to control equipment based on user-defined thresholds and conditions. Data is accessible in a centralized interface where users can track trends, build reports, or configure alerts. Should the network be interrupted, the Smart Controller can maintain equipment control using onboard logic and local sensing.

 

Actively managing equipment and conditions is critical to driving down energy costs and usage. The Smart Controller is the core intelligence that leverages sensor data to efficiently optimize climate control technology reducing risk and human intervention.
